“Being able to work with the children in Uganda was definitely my favorite aspect of this trip. The children were so smart and interesting. Having the opportunity to brighten their days with simple things such as candy or bubbles was so amazing. The little things that we take for granted make them so happy, and it was great to be able to experience that.”

"I enjoyed not only visiting multiple orphanages... but also playing soccer with boys and having fun conversations with girls in broken Spanish. I'm also proud of myself and my friends for providing school supplies, English and computer lessons, dental care, and health presentations to them. They were all the interactions I would love to constantly make on a seasonal basis without any doubts as I live my life."

"My favorite volunteer activity was giving health presentations to the women and children at the local soup kitchen. It was amazing being in that community because the people know very little about health conditions that most people in the United States have known about for a long time. I could truly see that we were making a difference and the greatest part was how thankful the women were to learn! They want to take care of their families and it was great to be able to help them in such a way! We also had fun playing outside with the kids after the presentation and it was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed it!"
